Every sexist workplace stereotype broken down in sixty seconds

Sure, there’s plenty of sexism to go around in advertising, but Pantene Philippines has found a way to perpetuate gender stereotypes, this time in a positive way.

In the 60 second clip titled #WhipIt Labels against women, creative agency BBDO and Pantee break down every sexist workplace stereotype you’ve probably ever heard about women.

Men are the boss, women are bossy. Men are dedicated for working overtime, women are selfish. Men are neat, women are vain.

The advertisement even earned a tick of approval from Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who has previously implored parents to stop calling their daughters “bossy”.
