Women’s Agenda members platform to incorporate Network Central

Women’s Agenda is pleased to announce a huge schedule of networking events in 2015, after incorporating the long-standing networking organisation Network Central into its membership platform, My Agenda

The move will see My Agenda re-badged as the Women’s Agenda Network from 1 February 2015, creating a comprehensive platform for corporate women seeking
online coaching, mentoring and in-person networking opportunities. The first round of diary dates for the year includes breakfast events in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as the NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards luncheon.

Now it is 16th year, Network Central was founded by Kim McGuinness as a means to start her own leadership journey, and to provide mentoring, education and networking services to women in management.

“I am thrilled to be passing the torch to Women’s Agenda to take it to the next level,” said McGuinness. “Members will benefit from a bigger organisation and also the inclusion of the Women’s Leadership Awards. I am excited for the next chapter!”

Women’s Agenda Associate Publisher Angela Priestley said existing My Agenda members and those keen on joining the platform will continue to benefit from everything My Agenda currently offers, with the added benefit of a jam-packed schedule of events.

“We’re looking to offer much more to our members in 2015 and Network Central is the perfect fit for making it happen, especially with our new events program,” she said “We’re particularly excited to welcome Network Central members into our community, and to continue Kim’s passionate work and vision in connecting women who’re looking to get ahead.

“Our members will be receiving career-related resources, access to our online coaches, and a comprehensive range of events and opportunities from our partners — including Kim’s excellent mentor matching service, which she will continue to operate independently from Women’s Agenda.”

McGuinness added she believes Network Central has found an ideal home. “I am proud of what we have built and the quality of members we attract. I know Women’s Agenda hold the same values for the organisation and care for members that I do.”

My Agenda will be rebadged as the Women’s Agenda Network from Feb 1 2015. My Agenda members will continue to benefit from all resources currently being offered.

Women’s Agenda is published by Private Media, also the publisher of Smart Company, StartUp Smart, Crikey, Daily Review and Property Observer.
