Prime Minister Tony Abbott is our Minister for Women and responsible for promoting gender equality. So during a photo opportunity for a business delegation to Asia, he tried to do just that by finding some ladies to feature on camera.
In this footage, Abbott’s seen listing the names of the male delegates to line up for a photo — and then heard wondering “what’s happened to the ladies?” and making sure everyone’s aware that, “There are some lady members of the delegation”.
One male member of the delegation notes on the disappearing ladies that, “they’re probably too ambitious”.
