Job description

Established in 1854 the Library has embraced 21st-century technologies and is one of the most popular libraries in Australia.

After a recent planning and review process, the Library has established a new vision and strategy, and as a result has developed a new leadership team and structure. In the new structure, the key leadership roles will report to the Chief Executive Officer and State Librarian and will be expected to share responsibility for overall Library leadership, direction and policy.

As the Director, Foundation, the position will be responsible for:
• Major philanthropy program
• Corporate partners program
• Foundation membership program

Potential applicants will be able to operate strategically across the organisation and beyond it. They will have a strong leadership record that shows innovation, strategic thinking, excellence in delivery, and collaboration with others.
