Job description

Reporting to the Executive Director, Courts and Tribunals Service, the Chief Executive Officer leads and manages staff at the court, controls business and strategic planning processes, manages the budget, financial planning, assets, staffing resources and implements legislative changes in government and departmental policy.

The role provides authoritative, strategic advice and support to the Chief Magistrate, departmental executives and senior management on all aspects of the operation of the Magistrates' Court, serving as a principal reference point for advice to the Secretary, Attorney-General and key stakeholders on portfolio issues.
