The South Australian Tourism Commission's vision is to position South Australia as a leading tourism and events destination both nationally and globally, leveraging from its competitive advantage with iconic assets such as the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Kangaroo Island and Flinders Ranges, and supported by outstanding lifestyle and cultural experiences. Tourism is a key economic contributor to the State of South Australia, with extraordinary potential to be further realised.
The Board is seeking to appoint a a new director, International to take the SATC to the next stage in its development as a leading tourism authority.
Reporting to the CEO, the director, International will be accountable for maximising South Australia's tourism potential internationally, by driving the strategic direction of international marketing initiatives, managing key trade relationships and guiding familiarisation programs. This will involve managing international operations in key markets, leveraging airline co-operative marketing relationships and a strong partnership with Tourism Australia.
