Team Leader Media Relations - City of Melbourne

Job description

The position requires a knowledgeable leader and media professional to act as "Chief Of Staff" to the Media Relations team. With extensive experience in a diverse and issues rich environment, the Team Leader will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the team, managing media request traffic and will apply sound political judgement to identify and strategically respond to potential media issues.

Critical to this role is the ability to manage the team and your own role with minimal supervision, while proactively keeping the Manager Media Relationsfully informed of issues as they arise.
